In other news, the upcoming 2020 Land Rover Range Rover is getting some exciting changes as well. While still part of the fourth-generation, which debuted back in 2013, the new Range Rover is getting some substantial updates, keeping the iconic vehicle feeling fresh. New for the 2020 model year includes an inline-6 engine and a mild-hybrid system as the base powertrain.

When it comes to a redesigned Range Rover SUV, it seems that we could see a new model by 2021. That model is suspected to ride on the next-generation platform dubbed MLA (Modular Longitudinal Architecture) that we’ll first see on the upcoming reboot of the venerable Land Rover Defender.

The new platform is designed to fit battery-electric powertrains and is expected to underpin most of the upcoming models.
