Over at Land Rover headquarters, final details are being applied, and the vehicle is set to roll off of assembly lines and onto the lot of our Northfield Land Rover dealership next month. People who have been lucky enough to get behind the wheel of this new Land Rover in advance of its official release have been ranting and raving about its capabilities, as initial reviews have been positive.

While we were fans of the Freelander vehicles, they were in need of a modern update, which is what the Land Rover Discovery Sport brings to the table. The first thing that you're sure to notice about this new Land Rover is the attractive exterior, which features a modern and stylish look, along with a more aerodynamic design that improves vehicle performance on long stretches of road.
Here at your local Land Rover dealer, Chicago and Northfield residents have been wondering whether the new Land Rover Discovery Sport will maintain the brand's characteristic off-road hardiness. Well, it certainly will, thanks to the standard all-wheel-drive, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, and nine-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the four-mode Terrain Response system helps the vehicle adapt to a variety of different terrains: sand, snow, rocks, and mud.
