While the highly lauded 2014 Range Rover Sport was just released to dealerships such as ours here at Land Rover Winnetka, Land Rover is not a company to rest on its laurels and get lazy. That's why they are already working on developing the new version of the popular and luxurious sporty SUV that Chicago-area residents can't stop raving about. In fact, the 2015 Range Rover Sport was recently spotted in a spy video. We couldn't be more excited about the possibilities this new Land Rover vehicle will offer us.
While we caught our first glimpse of the 2015 Range Rover Sport back in October, the SUV is in a much more advanced stage at this point in time. Now, the new Range Rover Sport isn't just an upgraded version of the 2014 vehicle; it's an all-new R-S model, which is sure to please performance enthusiasts. Fans of the Jaguar Land Rover brand will be quick to point out that the R-S designation is reserved for the highest-performance vehicles, such as XKR-S and XFR-S.
The fact that there's a new Range Rover coming should not come as surprise to people who follow Land Rover news. In the past, Land Rover officials have stated that they wish to model Land Rover vehicles after Jaguar cars that have very high-performing variants of their vehicles. Regardless, you can expect the new Range Rover Sport to have a horsepower figure of 550, with an aggressive front bumper and rear spoiler.
While we don't know a whole lot of details about the new Range Rover Sport yet, Winnetka and Highland Park residents looking for a Range Rover Sport for sale will be able to find it at our location on Green Bay Road later this year.
