Land Rover Starts Revolutionary Land Rover Experience Driving School

Over the years, it has become increasingly clear that Land Rover is about more than just manufacturing some of the highest quality and durable vehicles in the business. The newest aspect of the outreach work by Land Rover involves teaching people how to drive its vehicles in the off-road settings for which Land Rover vehicles are made to traverse. The brand-new Land Rover Experience Driving School allows students to take classes to learn how to properly drive a Land Rover in a rugged setting.

Now, Land Rover has made an effort to make its vehicles more appropriate for riding city streets, but this initiative shows that it's still committed to its off-roading heritage. Here at Land Rover Winnetka, we are pleased to say that the instruction course takes place at the historic Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. Participants in the school have two options to choose from: a one-hour session or a six-hour session that includes a private lunch.

At the school, you and up to three passengers ride the 2014 Range Rover Northbrook and Winnetka drivers are raving about, in the 8,000-acre wooded back-country at the Biltmore. A professional Land Rover instructor teaches the driver how to execute skilled maneuvers, such as log crossing, rock crawls, side-tilt with steep hill climbs and descents.

Of course, the 2014 Land Rover Range Rover has ample features that help the driver out in rugged off-road terrain, including the Range Rover Terrain Response System, which has mud, grass, gravel, sand, and rock crawl traction settings that help navigate the Biltmore's trails. You don't need to be a Land Rover owner to enroll in the course, and the 2014 Land Rover Range Rover is now available at Fields Land Rover Winnetka.
