As summer is finally starting, people are coming out in droves to their local Land Rover dealers, to purchase Land Rover vehicles in record numbers. The latest news out of Land Rover headquarters is that the company realized a 30 percent gain in global sales in April. While some of this may be attributed to the upcoming warm weather, most of it should be attributed to the enduring quality, versatility, and power of the entire line of Land Rover vehicles.

Looking at the sales number a bit, we can see that Land Rover's global brand had a total sales increase of 30%, which was 72 percent in China, 19 percent in North America, 25 percent in Asia Pacific, and 27 percent in Europe. According to Land Rover sales director Andy Goss, “April sales continue the positive momentum we saw in the first quarter of 2014. All three Range Rover models delivered record April sales performance, reflecting the global appeal of our strongest ever vehicle lineup.”

In total, Land Rover sold 31,660 vehicles in April, an increase of 33 percent from last year. The Range Rover neaby Highland Park and Winnetka drivers love delivered its best sales performance since 2006. Everyday drivers are reviewers alike are raving about the 2014 Range Rover Evoque, which is on the smaller end when it comes to Land Rover vehicles, but still delivers the power that you'd expect, thanks to its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that cranks out 240 horsepower and 250 pound-per-foot of torque. Additionally, drivers and passengers see the benefit of the automated parallel parking system, Parking Exit, which simplifies the task of parking in extra tight parallel parking spots, as well as a litany of other navigation, audio, and technology features.
