Land Rover is an automaker that makes vehicles well known for their durability and long lifespans. However, it's true of all vehicles, no matter how high the quality, that parts are going to wear out over time. If you drive an older model Land Rover, it has sometimes been a little bit difficult to find parts for it, until now. The latest news out of Land Rover headquarters over in the United Kingdom is that the engineers at Land Rover are launching an all new Heritage program to help support Land Rover vehicles that are over 10 years old.

Located within Land Rover's new Special Operations unit, both that unit and the Heritage program will provide support for older Land Rover vehicles all across the automaker's entire sales network. If you own a Range Rover Classic, you will be able to purchase new body, trim, and extended service items for it. The Range Rover P38 and Discovery 1 and 2 will also be supported under Heritage, with the program supplying salvage and extended service parts. Additionally, the automaker is hard at work on reintroducing original part numbers for the Series I, II, and III.

There's no doubt that this news will excite Northfield Land Rover owners who visit our dealership in search of parts for their aging Land Rover vehicles. Now that the Heritage program is providing old parts, our Land Rover Parts Department will be even more fully stocked than it already is. To talk to an expert Land Rover dealer, Chicago-area residents simply need to visit our dealership to get the part that they need for their aging Land Rover vehicle.
