Here in Northfield, after an unseasonably warm fall, we're finally gearing up for winter. If you've lived here a while you'll surely know that winters in Chicagoland are no joke, with tons of snow, subzero temperatures, and ice-covered roads. However, it may be hard to believe, but there are colder parts of the world, namely the northern ends of Norway, Finland, and Sweden. This is precisely where Land Rover has chosen to set its new advertising campaign for the new Range Rover Sport SVR vehicle, in order to showcase just how safe and reliable this powerful Range Rover SUV is.

Here at Land Rover Northfield, we are thrilled to now carry the exciting new 2016 Range Rover Sport SVR SUV, and we think that this new ad campaign is an excellent reflection of the vehicle. In this series of videos, the Range Rover Sport SVR is billed as “the most powerful Land Rover ever.” According to automotive expert Lauren Fix, “Land Rover has the ability to cross water as high as the door sill and the ability to climb up or down any type of road condition or off-road condition. Showing their vehicle's skills in the Arctic Circle shows they can handle extreme temperatures.”

In the first video, which has already been released, French rally drivers Eric Gallardo explains how he was enlisted to build exact replicas of Formula I racing tracks throughout the world in the tundra around Arjeplog, Norway. The Range Rover Sport SVR is then shown racing around the track without using its Dynamic Stability Control, emphasizing the handling and performance of the vehicle itself.
