The name is Rover. Land Rover. Although you may not associate Land Rover vehicles with the most famous fictional MI6 agent, James Bond, that's about to change. That's right, our favorite automaker has been granted the opportunity to showcase one of its vehicles in the upcoming James Bond film, Spectre. This is not the first time Land Rover vehicles have appeared in a Bond film, but the vehicle's appearance the last time was so well received that Land Rover is back for another round.

Here at your Northfield Land Rover dealership, we'd like to remind Land Rover fans that the last installment in the series, Skyfall, opened with a lengthy scene with Bond racing through the streets of Istanbul in a Land Rover Defender. In that movie, M was also seen being chauffeured around London in a Land Rover XJ.

The new Bond movie, Spectre, is set to hit United States movie theaters in November, but the filming got off to a bit of a rough start last year when five Range Rover Sport vehicles that were supposed to be used in the film were stolen from a Dusseldorf garage. Land Rover didn't let this unfortunate incident deter them, as the automaker soldiered on and decided to include Range Rover Sport SVR in Spectre. Additionally, at least two modified Land Rover Defenders with 37-inch off-road tires, upgraded suspensions, and added bodywork protection will appear in the film.

The scenes featuring the Land Rover vehicles have already been filmed in Austria, and we are looking forward to seeing them when the movie hits theaters in November. But now, if you're interested in a new Range Rover in Highland Park, a Land Rover dealer here at Land Rover Northfield can help you find one that fits your needs!
