Last model year, Land Rover fans were in for a treat when they got behind the wheel of the new 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport. Longtime Land Rover followers will have recognized the Land Rover Discovery Sport from the 1980s, and last year, it was revitalized and met with great acclaim. Well, it’s almost time for the 2017 Land Rover Discovery to make its debut, and here at Land Rover Northfield, we were lucky enough to get an advance preview of this exciting Land Rover SUV.

The 2017 Land Rover Discovery is a full-size SUV that will replace the Land Rover L4 in the Land Rover lineup. On the exterior, its most notable feature is the stepped roofline that emphasizes headroom for passengers sitting in the spacious third row. The new Land Rover Discovery also features an aggressive grille and an asymmetric tail. The optional Dynamic Design package will add gloss black 20-inch wheels, black trim, distinctively designed front and rear bumpers, and integrated tailpipes. In the cabin, the vehicle will also sport a “stadium seating” configuration, which places each row slightly higher than the one in front of it.

Inside the cabin, drivers and passengers will be able to access a range of advanced technology features. The full-size adult seats are instantly configurable from Apple and Android devices using the remote Intelligent Seat Fold technology. The optional Land Rover InControl Touch Pro infotainment system includes a 10-inch touchscreen with door-to-door navigation, which can share directions to a paired smartphone to give users further directions when they’re traveling on foot.

Look for the 2017 Land Rover Discovery to hit our dealership in the coming weeks!
